HERS Testing

New Construction Title 24 Verification

When building a new ADU, single-family home, or multi-family dwelling, you will need to submit 24 essential documents. These include a detailed list of features requiring HERS verification, covering a broad range of home energy compliance requirements. Some verifications are needed at different construction stages, such as checking insulation R-values and installation before sheetrock is installed. Other tests are completed as the project nears completion, just before the final inspection.

We are certified to test the following  Title 24 documents:

• Quality insulation installation (QII)
• Indoor air quality ventilation
• Kitchen range hood
• Minimum Airflow
• Verified EER/EER2
• Verified SEER/SEER2
• Verified Refrigerant Charge
• Fan Efficacy Watts/CFM
• Verified HSPF2
• Verified heat pump-rated heating capacity
• Duct leakage testing
